" I'm the owner of Bear Den Kitchens aka Hey Y'all food truck. When I first got started I knew I had some solid ideas but I wanted some help in specific areas. I reached out to the local Community college, and they got me in touch with Jamie. She was invaluable. Her experience and knowledge helped me shape the operation into what it is today. Almost two years in and who knows how many 1000s of biscuits later, I still use the same basic storage and baking methods Jamie helped me create. I don't think I'd have the business I do today without her input. I 100% recommend her services."

"I have had the privilege of knowing Jamie Goodrich both as an instructor and as an employee,
and both experiences were exceptional. As her student, I consistently learned in engaging and
inspiring ways. From foundational kitchen skills to advanced techniques, her professionalism,
depth of knowledge, and passion for teaching kept me excited to attend class every day. Over
the course of the year, we developed a strong rapport and shared many stories and experiences
from our time in the industry. The knowledge and confidence I gained during that year
significantly strengthened my determination to pursue something meaningful in the culinary
business.
Nearly a year after completing her classes, Chef Jamie reached out to me with a business
opportunity I simply could not pass up. Because of her encouragement and support, I became a
partner in opening my own dessert food truck in Springfield. Shortly after we opened, I began
hiring staff, and Jamie joined the team in a part-time role. Having her on staff was invaluable. I
trusted completely that everything would be done to the highest standard, often better than I
could have done myself.
Returning after her shifts quickly became my favorite day of the week. The truck was always
impeccably clean, thoughtfully reorganized for efficiency, and fully stocked. It was truly an honor
to learn from her in an academic setting and an equal privilege to work alongside her
professionally.
I cannot say enough positive things about Chef Jamie, both professionally and personally.
Learning from her has been an experience I will never forget, and she is someone I know I can
always turn to for guidance throughout my career. Thank you, Chef Jamie, for everything."
