Class Policy, Attendance, & Payment

To ensure the best experience for all participants, please review our class policies:

If you are unable to attend a class, please contact Jamie Cakes at least 48 hours before the class date. This allows us time to prepare fresh ingredients and materials for every participant.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the class.
Each class requires a minimum of 4 participants. If this minimum is not met within 48 hours of the class, the class will be canceled and you will receive a full refund.
Payment Methods: Jamie Cakes only accepts payment for classes through Jamie Cakes website, unless advertised through a different venue.

Cake Decorating

Our cake decorating classes are designed to help you build real skills while still being creative in your own way. Each class is an interactive experience where you'll learn professional decorating techniques used by bakers every day. You'll gain the confidence to create beautiful cakes for birthdays, holidays, team bonding, or even your own small business.

Our classes are relaxed, interactive, and vary between beginner friendly to advanced, allowing you to learn at your own pace with personalized instruction. By the end of each class, you'll leave with a completed cake, new decorating skills, and the knowledge to recreate what you've learned at home.

International Baking

Travel the world through baking without leaving the kitchen! Our International Baking Classes explore the traditions, techniques, and flavors behind beloved baked goods from different cultures around the globe.

Each class focuses on a specific country or region, teaching participants the story behind the recipes while providing an interactive experience creating authentic baked goods.

You'll learn traditional methods, understand the ingredients and techniques that make each item unique, and gain skills that can be applied to your own baking.

Basic Baking Skills

Build confidence in the kitchen by learning the essential skills every baker needs. Our Basic Baking Skills Classes are designed for beginners and anyone looking to strengthen their baking foundation through hands-on practice and professional instruction.

Rather than simply following a recipe, participants will learn the techniques, science, and methods behind successful baking. You'll discover how ingredients work together, how to troubleshoot common baking problems, and how to create consistent, delicious results at home.

Age Groups

Private Baking Classes- (All Ages)

We host our private baking sessions at a set rate to cover all ingredient, equipment, and instruction costs. These prices reflect one person. Adding an additional person will add to the cost. Email info@jamiecakes.biz for more information.

2-Hour Private Class — $150

Focuses on foundational baking and decorating skills in a guided, hands-on setting.

Cake decorating basics
Intro to piping and design techniques

Perfect for beginners or skill refreshers

4-Hour Private Class — $300

A more in-depth, immersive baking experience with full production from start to finish.

Includes all ingredients and equipment
Full hands-on baking and decorating experience
Cake decorating or custom baking project
Step-by-step guided instruction throughout the entire process
Participant takes home all baked goods created in class
Ideal for skill building, practice, or custom learning goals

Little Bakers (Ages 4–7)

Spark your child’s creativity with our Little Bakers Classes designed for ages 4–7. These hands-on sessions introduce young bakers to fun and safe baking activities like decorating cupcakes or cookies, with adult participation encouraged for guidance and support.

Each child works with all tools and ingredients provided and takes home their creations in a pastry box. These classes focus on creativity, confidence, and making lasting memories.

Price: $35 per child (parent assistant included in this price)

Junior Bakers (Ages 8–12)

Our Junior Bakers Classes are designed for ages 8–12 and introduce more advanced baking and decorating techniques in a fun, structured environment. Students learn to bake and decorate cupcakes, cookies, or bento-style cakes while building independence and confidence in the kitchen.

Each participant is guided step-by-step and takes home their creations in a pastry box. These classes focus on skill-building, creativity, and hands-on learning.

Price: $55-$95 per child

Teen Bakers (Ages 13–17)

Teen Bakers Classes are designed for ages 13–17 and focus on developing advanced baking and decorating skills in a professional kitchen setting. Students explore more detailed techniques, flavor combinations, and creative expression while building confidence and independence.

Each teen works hands-on with guided instruction and takes home their finished baked goods in a pastry box.

Price: $55-$95 per person

Adult Baking Classes (Ages 18+)

These are designed for ages 18+ and offer hands-on instruction in baking, decorating, and pastry techniques. Classes range from beginner-friendly experiences to more advanced skill-building sessions, including select 21+ Cake n’ Sip events.

Participants learn professional techniques, explore creativity, and take home their finished creations in a pastry box.

Price: $65–$95 per person

Team Bonding & Group Classes (Ages 18+)

Team Baking Classes are designed for groups of 6–20 people looking for a fun, interactive experience. These sessions focus on teamwork, creativity, and hands-on baking or decorating activities in a professional setting.

Groups work together under guided instruction and take home their creations in a pastry box. Pricing is tiered based on group size.
