Get to know the chef
“My love for baking has shaped my entire journey. In 2015, I earned my Associate of Science Degree in Baking and Pastry from The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of California in San Francisco. Since then, I’ve traveled across the country, working in bakeries and restaurants in Texas, Michigan, California, and Oregon. Each stop has given me the chance to learn new techniques, grow my skills, and gain invaluable hands-on experience.
In 2022, I stepped into my current role as Head Baking Chef Instructor at Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon. Teaching has become the most rewarding part of my career — I love helping others build confidence in the kitchen and discover their own creativity. While cake decorating has always been my specialty, guiding students and sharing what I’ve learned is what truly lights me up.
Over the years, I’ve also been honored to work with a variety of nonprofits, using baking as a way to bring people together and strengthen communities. Looking ahead, one of my biggest goals is to travel with my company so I can reach communities that may not otherwise have opportunities like this — making baking accessible, fun, and inspiring for everyone.
Whether I’m designing a custom cake or leading a class, my goal is always the same: to make every baking experience extraordinary.
